Gary E Bymers earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin Madison. He chose a technical sales career path and now has over 30 years of experience in International Business development and International Channel Partner management. Gary has lived in New Zealand, Brazil, and Germany, establishing joint venture daughter companies in those locations, and establishing global channel partner networks. During his career, Gary has specialized in the starch/ethanol, the pulp & paper, and the food/beverage industries over the years. Gary has co-authored presentations on first and second-generation Biofuels using grains and other carbohydrates, sugar cane, and cellulosic feedstocks. Gary was responsible for establishing, training, and managing an international group of distributors and representatives. Mr. Bymers has appeared as a feature speaker at various conferences in Brazil, India, China, and Germany as well as the USA and Canada.
During his career he has received the Presidents’ “E” Award in 2014, Wisconsin’s Governor’s Export Achievement Award in 2016, and the President’s “E-STAR” award in 2018 for creating programs for excellence in exporting. Married to a Brazilian national, with two children; his hobbies include being a pilot and aircraft owner and traveling, having been to 99 countries. Conversant in Spanish, Portuguese, and English.
