LucasE³ was founded by Scott Lucas in 2011. After years of watching the industry struggle with antiquated plant designs, he decided to create his own ethanol services company to focus on more modern and efficient methods to produce ethanol.
Today, the firm has grown to more than fifteen professionals with offices in the United States and Brazil. It has developed patented and proven technologies focused on energy reduction, low energy expansion, product diversification and efficacy improvements to existing operations.
For greenfield projects, LucasE³ has can incorporate all (or some) of its patented solutions to deliver the most efficient plants capable of producing the highest volumes of ethanol and corn oil along with a delivering a diversified product mix with larger profit margins when compared the traditional co-products.
LucasE3 also offer fractional engineering support and 24/7 Rapid Response services. This service is designed to match a plant’s need for highly experienced process engineering support to the right engineer(s) at the right times.
Because we are a professional engineering firm, and not a manufacturer of equipment, our professional commitment is to do what’s in the best interest of the plant. We are agnostic to manufacturers and other service providers. We will recommend what we believe is in the best interest of the plant.
